What are Coolness, Charisma & Allure made of?
$40, 7- 9:30 pm
In this 2.5 hour course Dr. LeeAnn Renninger, Urban Ethologist and Director of LifeLabs NY,
will take us on an interactive adventure into the many facets of coolness, to ask what coolness
is really made of.
Why do some people, ideas, and words captivate our attention and leave a lingering footprint
long after encountering them? What's the difference between glamor, charisma, and allure?
How do scientists study such seemingly elusive topics?
During the course you will become a Coolness researcher - we'll learn about the fascinating
field of Urban Ethology and try out some charisma & allure experiments ourselves – in
movement, persuasion, and communication skills.
This lab is based on a broad range of research in human ethology, social/consumer
